FOCO Workshop was founded in Hooton, Cheshire by two trade professionals who knew exactly what the industry was missing — a panel cutting and processing business that puts quality and reliability above everything else.
IMG_001 / WORKSHOPYears on the tools taught us exactly where the industry was falling short. So we built the workshop we'd always wanted to buy from.
Ben and Rick spent years working in the trades, completing projects for customers who expected the best. Time and again, sourcing precision-cut panels and processed boards meant dealing with suppliers who couldn’t match the standard their work demanded — inconsistent cuts, poor edgebanding, unreliable lead times.
After one too many jobs held up by substandard materials, they decided to do something about it. FOCO Workshop was the result — a trade-focused business built from the ground up with quality at its core and real tradespeople in mind.
Based at Hooton Works in Cheshire, the workshop runs professional-grade machinery that gives customers the kind of precision and finish that simply wasn’t available locally before.
Four principles, applied to every cut, every quote and every collection. The same standards we'd expect on our own jobs.
Every panel that leaves the workshop meets the standard we’d expect on our own jobs. No shortcuts, no compromise.
We understand how trades work because we’ve been there. We know what you need, when you need it, and why it matters.
We respect your time and your deadlines. Streamlined process, quick quotes, reliable delivery.
Straightforward quotes, no hidden charges. You know what you’re paying before the job starts.
Two tradesmen who got tired of settling for less, and built something better.
Ben has spent years working in the trades, building a reputation for quality and attention to detail. After years of frustration with the standard of panel cutting available to trade customers in the North West, he co-founded FOCO Workshop to give tradespeople access to the level of service and finish they actually deserve.
Rick brings years of trade experience to FOCO Workshop. His hands-on knowledge of how trades operate day-to-day has shaped the way the business runs — from the machinery chosen, to the turnaround times promised, to the way every quote is written.
